Lunar New Year is the name for the Chinese New Year and Korean New Year holiday celebrated in the US. It’s also referred to as the spring festival. The date changes each year based on the calendar, but it is celebrated on the new moon between January 21 and February 20.
Traditions include a family reunion meal, activities to bring luck, and firecrackers. After you find the hidden words in the Lunar New Year word search, color the lanterns and envelopes red for good luck.
